Located about 10 miles south of downtown Columbus on State Route 23 in Lockbourne, On the well kept grounds of St. Joseph Cemetery is a place of peace, both for the faithful departed and for families who wish to spend time with their loved ones. Surrounded by plenty of wildlife; Deer, rabbit, squirrel and several species of birds.
















     As  you drive through the main gates, in the center of the Cemetery sits the beautiful brick and stone chapel where it was erected in 1929. On the well manicured Chapel grounds are very beautiful flower beds, where flowers always seem to be in bloom through out the summer. Candles are offered at the Cemetery office for placement in the Chapel for a small fee. And dont forget to stop by the Chapel around Christmas to see it decorated for the Holidays  its very beautiful.

Totaling 755 acres in size there are 37 sections in the cemetery that are in use. In addition to gravesites, the cemetery also holds 3,500 mausoleum crypts.

The Office is Located near the Mausoleums, where you can go to make funeral arrangements as well as find out where a Loved one is buried in the Cemetery. They have a very nice staff of people working there that are very helpful, they will even print out a map to show you the location to help you find it more quickly.The Director, Rich Finn, Office Manager, Jan Gerst, Family Service Counselor's Stephen Skinner and Nick Rehl all are eager to help with your needs.The service building is located at the southend of the Cemetery there you will find Superintendent Gary Scholer, Foremen Chuck Weiner and the very helpful field crew. They all keep the cemetery running and looking so nice.
