, Most of my photos were of angel statues. There was just so many beautiful ones, but i plan to go back I didn't even cover half of what I wanted to on this visit. because it was cold and rainy that day, Also I would like to mention that some also believe that this cemetery is haunted. although i didn't experience anything on my visit, you can read below for more information on that subject.
Some claim that a man had a stone bust made to exactly replicate his facial structure. The end result was something that looked exactly like him, except made in stone. The only thing missing was his eyes. Apparently the man requested that his own eyes be removed and placed in the bust.
Those who have seen the headstone and bust claim that the eyes seem to flicker and look lifelike. They also claim that the man swore those eyes would watch over visitors, to make sure that no one vandalized his grave. The story also claims that the eyes follow you around the cemetery. although i didn't get a photo shot of this marker i plan on going back sometime soon to check it out.
Another well known story involves the Dexter Memorial. This gothic looking memorial is located towards the front of the cemetery on a lake. Supposedly, if you sit on one of the porch you will see two white dogs run by. Sometimes they stop and stare at you, glowing bright white.
