Cedar Hill Cemetery
This cemetery is Located at 275 N Cedar St in Newark, OH
This is a very beautiful cemetery to visit I had a wonderful time there. The night we went they had a cemetery tour, the guides dressed up and they told some very interesting stories about the cemetery.
Take a look at the photo's below that I took that night!
The Baker Mausoleum
I once read that people refer to this mausoleum as an asylum, probably because of it's crumbling exterior and gated surroundings which makes it look a little scary (especially at night). In it's day I am sure this was a very beautiful resting place but time has taken it's toll. The windows were gone, the gate is falling down, it's kind of sad really. Located outside the front door is a very beautiful weeping woman statue(shown below). Above the top front entrance is what looks to me like a headstone that had been placed up there with the name of their son (Franky)
Legend states that if you put your ear against the locked door, you'll hear screams and muffled voices inside.
