Mount Union/Pleasant Valley Cemetery
"Elizabeth's Grave"

Located in Chillicothe,Ohio off Egypt pike just past the Wildlife area.

I have read many stories dealing with this cemetery about it being haunted by Elizabeth, as well as hearing there are two  buried here, the other is spelled with an s instead of a z. But on my trip I only seen the one I have pictured below. Here are a few legends I found out about this cemetery.

John, James and sarah corbit all 3 died at a very young age.All died within 2 weeks of each other.

One story I read said that Elisabeth hung herself from a tree in the back of the cemetery and even though Elisabeth's body was buried at the front of the cemetery her headstone always moves to the back of the cemetery where she died.
In another, Elisabeth was beheaded by a group of men who was angry about her inheritance of her late husband's land. This also took place near a tree in the rear of the cemetery.
