My site is about Ohio Cemeteries and other interests that fascinate me, One of my favorite hobbies are visiting older cemeteries like pioneer cemeteries. Nothing fascinates me more than finding an older cemetery nestled in the woods near the river, kind of lost and forgotten about. I can spend hours in a cemetery and not give it another moments thought, I feel more at peace there than any where else.
Cemeteries teach families and Communities a valuable lesson. We are not islands unto ourselves but connected in an unending river of life. We may feel alone and powerless in this confusing world of ours, but in the cemetery, we can discover our spiritual connection to the human family, unbroken by death.
You can click on the buttons on the side bar to go to any of my destinations.
If you have any photos you would like to submit of any cemeteries you have visited I will be glad to place them on my site.
There will be more additions to come as I find new and interesting cemeteries to visit.
If you know of an interesting cemetery for me to visit email me!
Stars
Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy.

GUESTBOOK!!
"Stranger stop and cast an eye, as you are now, so once was I.
As I am now, so you will be. Prepare for death and follow me."
The monuments seem to whisper to you from beneath the vines and the algae that threaten to keep their secrets forever. the beautifully aged monuments tell a story of their own and possess their own mortality, especially the ones that mimic our image. Seeing their bodies covered in snow or their faces that have aged like our mortal ones instill a sense of fragility among the living and the dead alike. There is no escaping the inevitable and if you could just look past the marble and granite you would see the souls that are trying to tell you their story. Cemeteries are usually thought of as the land of the dead but this website will show you how alive death can be. And maybe you will realize that cemeteries are alive and if you listen closely, you will feel what they have to say.
